Don Schmidt was a loving and devoted husband and father who cherished every moment with family and friends. Don lost his leg in a boating accident at 20 and almost didn’t survive. He always felt he was given a second chance at life and treated every day that way, never letting his limb loss be a limitation. He was passionate about helping others affected by limb loss, which is why we’re giving to a cause that supports children with limb loss and limb difference.
